Extending the SHOTO Series into New Settings |

With new high and mid-height tables and stools joining the SHOTO series, the collection now expands naturally into a broader range of settings while remaining true to its original design language. The name “SHOTO,” meaning “archipelago” in Japanese, reflects the collection’s quiet composition of individually placed pieces that relate gently to one another. The stool seat is carefully milled from laminated solid wood, shaped with a 2.5 mm dip at the center and softly rounded edges to provide comfort even without cushioning. A sharp 10 mm flat rim runs around the perimeter, giving the soft form a clear and structured presence. The stools are designed for knock-down assembly and flat-packing, helping reduce packaging volume and emissions during transport. |

The bar table features a solid wood top with a gently concave surface that defines its outline with subtle depth. Its base echoes the semicircular forms found throughout the series. In both tables and stools, the warm grey lacquered steel frame complements the natural wood tones and reflects the construction language of other SHOTO pieces, combining semicircular and straight elements with quiet precision. Available in a variety of wood types, the new SHOTO bar tables and stools carry forward the series’ familiar silhouettes and carefully resolved details—embodying a sense of clarity, warmth, and balance that supports a wide range of interior environments. |
