SHOTO Table Series

For this year’s new collection, Maruni aimed to enhance the living space by having Cecilie Manz’ pieces seamlessly blend with both the existing and newly designed furniture from Maruni’s other two designers.

SHOTO is designed with various arrangements in mind and includes low, all-wood tables and lighter, casual tables with a metal base.

“The name of the collection refers to the ‘archipelago’ one often creates in the living area; islands of furniture that works together in creating a nice atmosphere” — Cecilie Manz.

Also featured is the compact Tray Table, designed to provide a small, elevated surface to meet a range of needs, whether it be keeping bags off the floor or placing a cup of coffee.

In common all tables have the oval shape of the wooden tabletop and the wish to create an understated design language. The precise detailing is crucial, smooth transitions from soft to straight, framing the architecture of the table, creating a tray-like surface.
