Lightwood Sofa by Jasper Morrison

First presented as a prototype at Salone del Mobile 2024, the Lightwood Sofa is now available internationally as part of the Lightwood series by Jasper Morrison. With its signature light wooden frame and soft, inviting cushions, the sofa embodies Morrison’s vision of ease and refinement in daily life.

The beautifully crafted back is designed to look appealing from every angle, while the modular wooden frame can be easily disassembled for compact transport and reduced environmental impact.

The sofa’s arm design inherits the Lightwood Armchair’s gentle rounded form, providing support without adding visual weight. Both the sofa and arm sofa offer the same inviting presence.

Even in the larger two-and three-seater models, the number of middle legs has been kept to a minimum, maintaining the same clean, graceful appearance as a single seat.

The back cushion is reversible front and back, filled generously with down to gently support the body with a soft, sinking comfort. The seat cushion is made of a three-layer urethane structure, providing firm and stable support without bottoming out. Both back and seat cushions feature seamless covers creating a unified and refined appearance with the wooden frame.

New additions of soft blue and beige colors from Melange Nap, also expand its possibilities for a wide range of spaces.
