Introducing the HIROSHIMA Angled Sofa

As Fukasawa explains,
“A new angled module has been added to the HIROSHIMA sofa system. In addition to corner units and chaise lounges, this gently angled module introduces a refreshing change to the space. Its subtle curvature softens interactions and postures, offering a sense of comfort and embrace.”

The new angled module features a 108° outward angle. When connected to existing straight modules, it creates a distinctive V-shape layout that introduces a gentle rhythm to the room—while preserving the HIROSHIMA Sofa’s signature horizontal and vertical clarity.

The soft angle naturally draws the body inward when seated, encouraging natural conversation and a sense of closeness. The module is available in both armless and one-arm types, offering flexibility for different arrangements and environments.Upholstery is available in a wide range of textiles, including newly added options such as Aquaclean-treated and pet-friendly fabrics.
The wooden legs are also offered in a variety of finishes to suit different interior styles.
A leather bolster cushion, available as an option, adds an elegant accent and enhances support.
