We are proud to announce that the Hiroshima armchair, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, has been selected for the permanent collection of the Designmuseum Danmark.
The Designmuseum Danmark is currently celebrating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Hans J. Wegner (1914 – 2007) with an exhibition entitled “Wegner – Just one good chair”. At this exhibition you can learn about the history and see the works of Hans J. Wegner, a designer with the largest amount of works remaining in the world and whose furniture provided the opportunity for the international expansion Danish design in the years after WWII. The exhibition not only features the works of Wegner but also presents works by the most important post-war Danish and international designers, as well as some excellent pieces from recent years that have been influenced by Danish design.
